OT: Chocolate salad??

Our church ladies Christmas party is revolving around chocolate. Nope, non of us are chocoholics. LOL Annny ways...we're all bringing choclate dishes. The hostess is coming up with a main dish, something called "chocolate chili". Someone else is bringing a chocolate punch. I'm looking for a salady dish with chocolate. Anyone have any recipes they can share?

By the way, me thinks the next recipe page swap should revolve around chocolate. Then I wouldn't be in this predicament again. LOL

This is the only one I've tried and it's nothing like salad. Just a play on the word.

Chocolate Salad (PMS Salad)

This really comes in handy when you have those cravings! You know what I'm talking about girls!!

1 cup M&Ms plain chocolate candies 1 cup M&Ms peanut chocolate candies 1 cup chocolate-covered peanuts 1 cup chocolate-covered raisins 1 cup chocolate stars 1 cup malted milk balls

Add everything to a large serving bowl and toss lightly to mix. You may add or take away anything that your chocolate loving heart desires. If your feeling festive, you could use seasonal colored M&M's. 12 servings

Oh Lynne....that sounds sooo yummmmmy!!! I'm off to frost the brownies now......sheesh glad I made them before all this chocolate talk as I'd have had to add chocolate chips.....

One of the favorites around here is snicker salad. You take a large container of cool whip, 6 snicker bars and 6 medium apples and cut them all up and mix 'em up in the cool whip. Its really, really good, and very, very easy! Kathy

I found a recipe using fruit cocktail, cool whip?,...marshmallows, and if I remember right, it had either chocolate chips or white chocolate chips. But a fruit salad with chocolate sauce on the side sounds good, too. Decisions decisions...
