One of my friends said that they were closing the florida borders to anyone that does not live in FL. I am not sure. I know they did this last year, but they were a direct hit. My parents are coming home this weekend, tomorrow in fact so I will know if they are or not.

My prayers are with you Irene. You are closer than we are. We are inland in north central florida so all we are getting is some rain, but you are right, you are right in the path. One of our sites for work is in andalusia, AL and they had to close so our site is picking up their portable calls for them, but our call routing site said they do not want us to take up the overnight slack because if that storm turns then they will have two sights closed and no one to take the calls.
