OT: i think i need to clarify something about DH leaving

i have been thinking about my post about DH going back to work. i reread it after getting reply posts and have to admit it did sound a little shalow on my part. the reason i was saying keep your fingers crossed is because he has been home almost 3 weeks longer than expected. which i loved the extra time with him, but going from $900 a week to $275 a week can be a little scary as most can relate. with all the horrid weather and many lay-offs around the country to unexpected health. i was getting very worried he might be laid off for a month more or so. i am sad to see him go, but when i get worried or depressed, i tend to crack jokes and stuff like that. so please everyone who read my post today, please do not think i am a cold hearted wife or noncaring person. i trully am. hope i clarified on things. thanks for listening.

Never thought you were cold hearted at all. I totally understand that a family needs an income and if someone is home it affects it. I also understand having a husband home as much as you love them puts a crimp in your schedule. I love it when my husband is home, but I love it when he goes back to work too. :)

I didn't get the impression that you were shallow, cold hearted or noncaring. When I was working and had a day off during the week and I knew my husband and kids would be at work and school that day I really looked forward to the "me" time.

anji,

I didn't think you were cold hearted either, just scared and worried.

You are like me in a way, we like routine. When it gets a little disrupted we get nervous.

I'm sarcastic individual when I get nervous and crack jokes too.

All I thought was that you were anxious for your hubby to get back to work since he had been off for so long. I didn't think you were shallow at all. Just concerned for him and your family. Don't worry about it. It sounds like we all like it when our guys are home, but like it when they are gone and we have a little "me" time too.

I never thought you were cold hearted either. Like everyone else, I look forward to hubby being out of the house. For some reason, I don't get anything done when he is here!
