OT: Must Share

I have been home from work sick the last two days. I just feel blah! This morning I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. We quickly went to the dr. office to confirm the test we just took at home. Its true we are pregnent! We are so excited! Just wanted to share.

This will be our second child. We had our first son born October 26,

2004 (Dylan Daniel) but unfortunately on December 6, 2004 we lost our beloved Dylan to Sids. The doctors told us our best bet was to try to get pregnent again right away. So as the dr. ordered we are having another baby! Its exciting and a little scrary. Our Dylan will always be in our hearts and in no way or means will our new baby ever replace Dylan. Dylan was one of a kind. He was a premie - born 4 pounds 2 ounces. At his time of passing he was extremely healthy and he weighed nearly 8 pounds. It took us 4 years to get pregnent with Dylan and we were so afraid it would take years to get pregnent again. I rambled enough.

Ramble all you want Chrissy. I love hearing about people's lives here in our little RCS world. I'm so happy you were able to get pregnant so quickly. I knew about your little angel Dylan. I didn't know it took 4 years to get pregnant with him though. What exciting news for you and your husband. You'll have lots of Aunties in here with ideas when you're ready to start your pregnancy scrapbook if you don't already have a million of your own.

What a terrible, but great story Chrissy. Is wonderful you was able to get pregnant so soon. 4 more years would be an awfully long time to wait after what you've been through. Again congrats. And take it easy.
