OT: Prayers Answered

Well I had just checked into my Dallas hotel when my cell phone rang. As many of you know, my DH has been a visiting professor in Little Rock on leave from his position in Florida, and he had hoped to get a permanent position. He missed out on that recently and we were looking at going back to Florida. Little Rock has now offered to keep my DH on until end of July 2006. The negotiations are all but final, only a few minor details need to be ironed out!

Phew... I don't have to start packing again for another 18 months or so... all that playtime... so if you're passing through Little Rock between now and July 2006, stop by The Scraproom" and say hello!

Thanks for all your prayers and words of encouragement. Now I'm going to market... here in Dallas..

That's wonderful, wonderful news MC. I knew you wasn't too excited about moving back. So at least you have another 1 1/2 years there. Congrats to you and especially hubby.

That is awesome news MC. I'm happy for both you and your husband. I know the thought of moving must have been mentally exhausting. It's a good thing you get to stay put for awhile. I wish you well on your trip this week!

That's great news M-C! Gives me more time to try and talk you and maybe some of the other Arkies into coming up to KC for a visit. We have an Archivers, plus the umpteen other lss in the city, and I'm sure there're plenty of shops between there and here for ya to stop at. Oops! Am I trying to enable? LOL

And WHO says HE doesn't answer our prayers?!! Thank You Thank YOu Thank You!!! I am so excited now in that I can plan on coming and spending some quality time when it warrants!!

Also maybe now Rick can take the chance and come visit my fine city, and you too of course MC and see the National Western Heritage and Cowboy Museum.

Oh I'm so happy for you M-C! I just knew something would come through! Congratulations to your DH and to you :))) The university probably realized they would definitely loose out if they didn't extend his contract :)
