My massive photo organization/identification project is complete! (These were the 2 decades of photos that I neglected to label; I just shoved the envelopes into storage boxes until "later".)
I used my old work calenders, baby diaries, and other detective methods to figure out dates for most of them ... and got close on the others. My most notable detective work -- One set was a driving trip to Disney World. There was a photo taken through the windshield on the highway, and I was able to read the date on the inspection sticker.
There were events I had completely forgotten. Doing this project was like getting my memory back after a bout of amnesia.
Now I can start scrapping! I've got lots of ideas for different albums. Some things I'll scrap chronologically, but the big events (like a trip) will be separate albums. Plus my dogs will get separate albums.
Gotta go to the scrapbook store to get cardstock and more paper!
