So, looking over the Roll Call I see that there are RCS galleries. How do I get my LOs in them? I've done 2 challenges but my name isn't linked to a gallary, so... what do I do? How do I qualify? Thanks so much!

So I just finished reviewing the wonderful new Member List at the website and noticed that RCS has gallaries for our LOs. How do I get my LOs into one? I know it's not the challenges because I've participated in those. Do I need to submit something, how do I qualify? thank you.

I think those are privately owned galleries at Webshots, with a link to them...I used to have a picture trail account, but they started charging...maybe I'll open a webshots account...not that I am scrapping much to share, but still, lol! arleen
Oh, I just found the older topic regarding the galleries. I do have a question. I know a lot of you use webshots. I don't like webshots because of all the extras they download onto my computer. Is there some way around the extra downloads. I am currently using PhotoBucket but always feel guilty about saying, hey, I've added a new LO and you're stuck looking at all my older LOs in search of the new one. Suggestions? advise? Alternatives?

I down loaded they webshots then after setting it up I simply deleted all the fluff.....HTH
you don't need to download that to use webshots... I have a mac and still use it... use the web forms.. takes longer but no spyware....
ahhh, the wise woman speaks, DH read this over my shoulder and told me that's what I did. Guess I slept since then???? lol
Okay, so i'm a bit illiterate when it comes to computers. Web forms? When I go to webshots and want to download it directs me to download webshots desktop. I don't want the desktop just the photo storage. Can I get some more explicit directions, please??

Use free sign up link and create an account....once you have logged in select My Photos tab and from there you can create albums and then upload your photos using their online webform. You don't need to download their software...which tries to take over your computer!!!!! HTH, Marilyn
download or upload? download, heck just right click on it and "save as"
upload... look a little closer... there IS a form to upload with online... :D
