Scanning 12x12

You girls always post the most beautiful pics of your layouts. I wanted to scan my first tries, but can't for the life of me figure out how to do a

12x12 page on an 8 1/2 x 14 scanner. Any suggestions?

Hi Selena Ok, scan one page of your layout and scan both halves separately , then the page, then you will have to go into a program ( usually with your scanner) and find the stitch utility in it. Then you will have to stitch the first 2 halves together, then the other 2. Now you will have 2 pages, right. I usually then go and stitch the two full pages together, making one complete layout. Does this make sense?

Thanks, Shelley. I'll try that and see what happens. Although, I'm a little embarrassed to show y'all my feeble attempts compared to your gorgeous stuff!

I agree with Mindi.... no scrap bashing aloud. hehe We all love scrapbooking and love to see other people's work. I think we all realize that we're all at different levels in our knowledge of scrapbooking. I think I enjoy, admire, and learn from every LO I see. So, please share.

Lynne PS if you have a question about "stitching" a page together ask away. This group got me stitching.

Please do share. I wish I could, but have not the capability at this time. We do so much enjoy seeing everyone's work. It is all a unique work of art that only you can do and we all appreciate that. We are not a judgemental group here. We feel priviledged to view such original and creative pages. (smile)

We are all more critical of our own designs, and everyone else does not see the things that we decided we could have done better. We would love to see your designs. Don't feel bad about the stitching. Everytime I do it, it comes out boched up. That is why there are no new layouts on my page.
