It's the second. Two years ago we did a Mediterranean cruise. This time we are taking a cruise from Rome to London with stops in Spain, Portugal and France. With an extra day at both ends of the trip, it will be about 3 weeks. It is our daughter's college graduation gift.

Last year I inherited a travel journal from my great aunt who took a Mediterranean cruise back in 1928. It was neat getting to know her better thru that journal (will post a few pages of it when I get album #9 up on webshots). Did you keep a journal of &/or scrap your cruise?

There you go, Judy. I need to figure out which pages I need to scan (since I can't find all my CDs) & get those pages posted. Then, if I could figure out what I did with the next album. Anyone seen an album with a scan of a wooden tree running around without its' owner?

LOL! Well, since it's a paper facsimile of a wooden tree between 2 sheets of vinyl in a mostly vinyl album, I think that one's safe. So's the original tree. But maybe I'd better check on the wood album with the inlaid tree.
Looked in the trunk of the car (took it to show friends a few months back) but still haven't found the one I'm looking for. It's over 200 pages. I don't want to have to reprint it!

Now I am really glad that you are termite free. I've never met a woman infested by termites, and frankly am really glad that you're not the first. Given the choice between you and the album with the tree, I'd rather the tree were infested! Honest!

Okay, so now I want to go to Scotland! It looks like you guys had a wonderful trip Alicia. The Guest House (we also call it that in SA), looks small but quaint (sp?). I love architecture, so everything in GB looks good to me! I love the way you tell the story! Have you ever considered doing a travel novel/guide? I think it would work great. It was a pleasure looking through your Scotland LO's! Thanks :)

)?. Theirs is part of what I'd call a rowhouse (a block-long row of connected homes). That row of houses was the first place on mainland UK to be hit by enemy fire in WW II (the other end of the row from theirs). >I love the way you tell the story! Your aunt's travel journal sounds like a fun read. What a great way to know more about her.
I tried to keep a journal, but it didn't last very long. I did a scrapbook. Two actually, one for us and one for the couple that we went with. Our ended up being about 88 pages. We took about 18 rolls of film so there were a lot to choose from. It is pretty detailed.
