LETS UPDATE AND RATE THE LSSsssssss

I'd like to throw out an idea that I've run by a couple of people so far. That is to have you all rate the scrapbook stores. It started with LoriK helping me update some of the information on the NC stores. I asked her if she thought it would be a good idea to have a 5 eyelet rating. I have not connected this page to the main site yet. I'd like those of you who are interested in helping rate the stores you have been to to write to me at snipped-for-privacy@yahoo.com.

here is where you can see the ratings. If you click on the eyelets it will take you to what I thought might be a way to rate the stores and see if they were worth visiting. During our treck in Oklahoma, Kenda and I went to a store that we had on our list that didn't even have a scrapbook magazine in it, and LoriK said the same about a Hallmark store in NC. Both stores have been droped from our lists.

Anyhow, I'd love everyones help with this as I think it will help us to avoid the less than stellar stores when we are cruising by a town so that we can go to the really good ones! Here are the NC stores with some ratings:

I may sound a little confused. My dental surgery today turned into alittle bit of a nightmare. After spending 3 hours and getting 7 shots inone dentist's chair I ended up being sent to another dental surgeon who hadto put me out to finish extracting a tooth that had fractured. The rootswere really close to the main nerve that goes down your jaw. Anyhow, I amnot supposed to do anything important, and this is certainly important tome. So if this doesn't make sense, I'll have to look at it again when I'moff the meds in a coupld of days!

ouchie ouchie ouchie ouchie!!!!!! Oh I hope you feel better soon! If they gave you the same stuff the dentist gave DH when he's had teeth extracted, then you definately don't want to do anything important...or drive. But I hope you feel better soon. I hate to see my friends in pain!

Thanks Deb. For someone who is already afraid of the dentins this was no fun. I think the worst part was finding out that in one hour I had to have more surgery and be aneasthetised. So I needed to get myself home knowing that hubby just couldn't walk out on 50 students, find a cab company that could get there in time and hope that the fact that Rick couldn't be there until after the proceedure wouldn't be a problem. They kept on asking if there was someone who could get there earlier. I was really freaked because the 1st dentist had given me a longer lasting shot and sent me out with like a 3rd of the tooth out and the rest still there. His previous shots hadn't lasted long enough to take out the tooth, so I was really scared of having to wait too long. They made me wait an extra hour and a bit so that Rick would be around before they finished. I get up for a short while to look at mail and stuff and then the drugs kick back in and I go veg some more. But like I always say, could have been worse!!! As long as I don't open my mouth and take the meds its not too bad. I'm sure that I'll be ok in a couple of days.

I'm glad they got it all taken care of and that Rick could be there to take you home. You take care of yourself, though!

Thanks! I think the worst pain is from having to keep my mouth so wide open for nearly 4 hours! I guess I'm a big mouth that has a little mouth, LOL!

I am sorry you went through so much dental yuck! That is a hard situation for a dentist to deal with and even harder to foresee. I hope you are doing better! I sent a few changes to my comments to you, it is a great idea!
