...in my recent response to Claire, I actually have a finished project, but I didn't want to put pictures up until I knew Ursula and her DD had received it. She e-mailed me today that the package arrived, so here it is:

Ursula has not been well, would everybody here please send her some good wishes?
That's not a lie it's just a little white lie. Christine will love it I know. I'm sorry to hear that Ursula is not feel well. A separate post for her. Juno
You are one of the most talented sewists I've known, Beverly, and what a generous person to do something like this for a little girl. She'll never forget "Beverly in the USA." Emily
This twill was especially difficult, it developed eyelashes all around, especially bad on the bias bits. On the last two in-the-hoop projects I did, the fabric behaved better. So I just left this in the hoop and went around a second time. I used red thread in the bobbin for the outer border, but I wound bobbins and did not use the "endless" feature. The bobbin thread ran out on the second pass on the border for the door hanger, naturally, so I had to bury the thread ends. .
She has had a tough time, laid low with a virus I think. She was feeling a bit better when she wrote, but good wishes are always welcome.
Too stinkin' cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure Little Missy will love it!!! And what a brag she will have at school --- she got something mailed to her - JUST her - all the way from America!!! WOOT!!!!
I keep thinking I should get a digitizing program, but other expenses keep cropping up to spend extra money, like graduations, wedding, and a sister's illness. Hopefully by my birthday in December? Emily
