deep hollowing system

I think I've narrowed it down to either the Kelton or Jamieson deep hollowing system for 10 to 16 in deep vessels..They are both close in price when all the bells and whistles are included so I'd like the group's opinion..Also,is John Lea still making captured hollowing systems.I tried to e-mail him at his site but to date no response? tia..Rick

I'm using Kelton hollowers in a Jamieson rig. How's that for muddying the waters? I really like the Kelton hollowers. The rig to hold them is less important to me. I hold them in straight handles and a Stewart armbrace too.

Our club hosted Lyle Jamieson this past weekend & to see him using his rig to hollow a vessel with just two fingers guiding the cutter was a sight to see. After seeing that I think I'll go with the Jamieson rig.

I have the Kelton hollowing rig and stand by it as a substantial and safe system.
