Where to buy Glaser tools?

Dec 20, 2003 4 Replies

The only online place I've found that carries Glaser is Packard Woodworks/The Woodturner's Source. Are there any other distributors? (Nothing against Packard, they look awesome, I'm just curious as to what all is out there). Thanks!

I keep a good supply of all the Glaser bowl and detail gouges, although they are not listed on the website. I can email a price list to anyone interested.

I just got my Glaser from Cutting Edge. When I talked to them they went and got it off the shelf and sent packaged it up. It came real fast. You will like it. It is hard to go back to other tools after using it. It cuts so well and makes you feel much more confident and in control. If it gets away from you, you are going to have a BIG tear in the work. It will just cut away the catch rather than throw the tool around! RP

Thanks all. Those are some great links. Cutting Edge is an awesome tools source. I probably will wait 'til I get my feet wet as a turner before buying a bunch of Glaser tools though :-) WoodTurnersCatalog is no longer carrying Glaser.

Peace, Sanaka
