OT: No one said good Sunday morning

Hi Everyone,

Gee, I miss not seeing what everyone was up to this morning. I've checked and checked, but no one mentioned it so I'll tell about my day. DH and I went to brunch like normal then came home and mowed and trimmed the lawn. There was a lovely breeze even though it was hot, but tomorrow is going to be a lot worse so it's done for another week. I've then been crocheting on my latest afghan, now it's time to get ready for bed.

Hugs,

Nora

I didn't get here this morning, Nora. I had a fairly typical Sunday - church, followed by a day of knitting. My house is a total mess - piled up with my niece's stuff. She has gone home, her job having ended, and the things she has accumulated over the past school year are in my house, which was quite full in any case. Oh, we also lost the power for a bit today, so I couldn't have posted anyhow.

Hugs, Katherine

Hi -- I am back again from a week with two of my grandkids and my sister and some of her grandkids at a lake in Minnesota. We call it Nana Camp. We all enjoy it - games, simple food, water skiing, swimming etc and lots of fun. I took advantage of having DGD#2 there to get most of the gloves she wanted knit while I could try them on as I went. I will finish up ok now as I am on the second one. Today seemed long as we had to drive in from the lake to the airport and then I put the two of them on the plane to the east coast and waited to fly to the west coast myself - all home now safe and sound.

Oh this is probably due to H.Dennis and our London disasters....Well as I emailed you I had to drive down to Yeovil in Somerset to attend Edwards fete, it was a hot drive there and back, but \although the hot dogs didn't sell too well, I think most things did, especially the icecreams. Edward bought lots of CD's and I won a tin of potatoes, and a jar of Gherkins....lol

I got home, showered to take the weariness out of me, when the sun went down I walked the dogs in the cool. fed them and went to bed, exhausted....:-)

Got off of work early on Sunday and was going to go to the pool with DD, who now has a short, water proof cast!! But I went donwstairs to be knocked over by a foul odor. We have a clogged sewer pipe, uh, need I say more!! So I had to go out a get a wet/dry vac and DH and I had lots of clean up. Waiting for plumber today.

Sometimes I think that the appliances and the house have ears! When you discuss purchasing something new, it always seems like something happens and your money needs to go for a repair of some sort. We have been talking about some new windows. Fat chance now!!

After clean up, I finished my clothes pin bag that I started a while back. It was made with two strands of cotton yarn, one white, one verigated yellows. It came out nice, I need to post a pic soon.
