Question about THE CONTEST

I am confused about the CNN gals in the contest - I have read that you will not be 'competing', and I read that we SHOULD NOT count you in our guesses, and I have also read that we SHOULD count you.

Could somebody at CNN please clear this up - if there are 3 people in CNN that would make a difference of quite a few 'feet' over two years.

Rusty in CT (who has Dusty helping her count 'feet')

Hi ya...only Cher Norma and Nora will not be entering the competition, but our squares count and you must add them. We are not taking part as this is our present to you from us, Plus I don't want to win my own prize...lol Cheers....Cher

Rusty, I am so glad i made my guess directly to Nora BEFORE I started to think on all this heavy stuff... ... who are in , and which squares are out, or are they bigger if they are knitted in centimetres, or can Dusty knit, or... Hugs, Aud ;-))

Aud, Dusty had a little trouble holding the needles in his paws, but with a little tape holding the needles on, he can just knit away. He's working on a sweater - dog sweater, of course - right now.

Isn't it great how much humor this contest has brought out ?

Bye for now,

I almost choked when I read Els' response. For some reason I had thought that Dusty was your husband, not a doggy! ROTFL

Hi Gem, no husband here - I've been happily divorced for over 30 years and plan on staying that way.

Dusty is a poodle-mix, a ShiPoo - ShihTzu and Poodle - he's 3 yrs old now, and weighs a chubby 25 pounds. He is named for the names of my four children, D for David, Paul donated his U, S for Sandy, T for Terri-Lynn - one of my DGS's came up with the name.

Bye for now,

Ahh, "happily divorced" must be *the* thing! I've been happily divorced for a long time too.... about 20 years I guess. My son (who is 24 now) was 3 months old when my ex went back to England, but I didn't bother applying for a divorce until my son was four when someone told me if I didn't get a divorce and confirm that I was Matthew's legal guardian, that his father

*could* come back anytime he wanted to and take him out of the country and I couldn't do anything about it.

Aww, he sounds cute! What colour is he?

Peace! Gem

Gem, sorry, but I don't have a picture of him online to show. The best description I can give is that if his hair grows just a little, he looks like a miniature Old English SheepDog (very miniature).
