Summer sweater, pattern and picture

May 30, 2005 12 Replies

I promised to show you a picture of my April-FO, the summer sweater. I found the pattern at the net, it was meant for one colour Mikado Ribbon, I used lots of coloures in different thicknesses(!!!) all cotton. Most of it came from my stash, but as always, I had to buy a bit, so the stash is nearly what it was before ;-)) I like the result, it was good to wear, and that is the most important! The pattern is easy to knit, I changed the gauge, and think it worked well. The pattern:

That is so pretty Aud. Well done, and how clever to adapt the pattern. You will be very stylish this summer Love Christine

Hi Aud,

Oh that sweater is lovely too. I had to go back to the afghan picture to see it as I was forbidden on the web address you gave. LOL

Hugs,

Nora

That is really lovely! Love the colours.

Aud, I love yours! I have some cotton yarn just sitting here. Maybe I should use it to make that sweater.

Well done as always

Lovely Aud! I like your version *much* better than the single colour one. The colours are so fresh and pretty.

Eimear

That looks great! I like your color choices much better than the single-color one! What pretty springy colors!
