Sunday

Well, it was *hot* here in Phoenix, got up to 90 F.......did about 3 hours of yard clean up when I noticed the sunburn starting to set in. Besides the trash bin was getting full, so I used that for an excuse to stop lol...... Been working on the 6x6 squares for my April partner. Finished up a set of 7 hot pads, pot holders for the kitchen out of a varigated blue cotton. Nice to have some new ones as the old ones I made about

10 years ago and they needed replacing. Trying to get over the worst sinus infection I've ever had, feel better but not quite back to normal. We're having a serious allergy/ pollen thing right now. The entire desert is in bloom,,,,,,they expect a high danger of brush fires this summer because of all the scrub and weeds growing from the unusually high rainfalls we've had all winter. Thats about all thats new here. Happy stitching. Marie and the cats

Oh POOR Marie! Sinus + pollen don't sound too good to me! Get well soon!

Glad to hear that others have 10 year old potholders!LOL! I have had the same thought as you, and had allready found some leftover yarn to make some new!

All potholders I have done the last years are given away!LOL!

I knitted some in the round with two coloures for my sister. The were very good, but I used a veri thin cotton yarn, and I think I used too much time !!! I think it is easier to use much time on something to wear! Potholders and washclothes, should be made relatively easy, ;-)) AUD :-)
