At any rate:
I'm working the edging on the endless Pi shawl. I had to chart the edging, then reverse the chart so it would work as sidewise applied edging. Progress happens, but it isn't fast.
Socks in the truck, small boy's sweater still both on needles.
I have an itch to do some spinning but I'm forcing myself to finish the shawl first...

I'm trying to find a used NordicWare Belgian Waffler. It's a more modern no-stick version of the old two-plate waffler that our grannies used on the stovetop. My husband dropped mine and BOTH plates broke (AND took a chip out of the concrete kitchen floor, thanks) so we're without waffles until I find a replacement. The damned things are $50 new, more with shipping and tax since I can't find one in a store anywhere in town.
If you have one and you're willing to part with it lets make a deal!
