Hah, I had it on Christmas - the puking bug, unfortunately. And the week before Christmas I was taking antibiotic for "pew-mona". The New Year was better ;)

I am starting to think it's a trend for me. Out of the last 15 years, I've been sick 13! I'm beginning to dread the New Years. LOL

Oh, no, Norma! What was it? There has been a dreadful stomach flu here, but I haven't gotten it. I hope you are feeling better now.

Wooly, I did not know this! Are you totally recovered?

Higs, Katherine

LOL For a while I considered joining a religion that did not celebrate Christmas, as I was sick every Christmas. But it didn't happen this year, so maybe I've broken it.

Norma,

Sorry to hear that you were under the weather for New Years. I hope you are better now.

I had that stomach virus stuff over Christmas. We were at my in-law's for the holidays when it hit and my DH loaded up the pickup at 9:30 at night and we drove home arriving just after midnight. I was so glad to be in my home (and he knew I would be). He got lots of stars in his crown that night!

Sorry to all that have been sick. I hope you all get better soon.

I have also had my years when I ushered in the New Year sick as heck. Last Christmas 2004, I had people over the week before for DD's birthday, and we ALL got sick - some kind of virus. Christmas was ruined for all of us. This year we had the same party, of course everyone wondering if we will get sick again. Thankfully we did not.

DS battling a double ear infection for 3 weeks now, antibiotics not helping. We are getting frustrated. Doc thinks the acne meds are creating a strain of infection that has become resistant. It can be scary. Of course he now has a reason for not hearing me! LOL

Geez, I hope everyone feels better soon! I got that horrid sinus/bronchial thing right before Thanksgiving and the even worse stomach virus the week before Christmas- the doctor said that's the worse one he's ever seen. So many people have been sick here that there are 12 hour waits at the hospital emergency rooms! Don't know where these nasty bugs come from but I wish they would all go away and leave us alone. Marie and the cats

well, I see that I was in good company. Hope you all feel better now, too.

Hi Ladies,

I hope everyone is starting to feel better. I've been dealing with a sinus head cold for the last week and everyone seems to have it or know someone who does. I saw on the news where Calif. is also being hit by the two kinds of virus. Not a nice way to start the new year.

Hugs,

Nora

I had it over Christmas. Not fun at all.Still hits me a bit here & there, but I'm able to go on from there. It is a very strange virus indeed!:>(

Hope everyone feels better soon.

I had Strep througt 2 years ago in the week between Christmas and New Years. By the time New Years hit I could barly talk. That was a crappy New Years for me. I can only hope that with the bad start to this new year that it will only get better for all who were shick. Hope everyone feels better. Andrea
