Yarn Harlot

As some of you know, Keith has been out of town for a few days, getting fitted for a new brace. Well, guess what he brought me back? "Meditations for Women who Knit Too Much"!!!! I think I'll keep him.

Hi Katherine,

I just finished it Monday and am getting ready to start it again. It's a funny book but so much of it is oh so true about us knitters and crocheters. Enjoy.

Hugs,

I am looking forward to reading it - probably this weekend, as we have the little ones with us right now.

Definitely! He knew that I didn't need any more patterns, so he got me this. He also got me the Stitch and Bitch Journal, but that is more for designers, so I guess I should start designing.

The book was really good and I got it a while ago and really enjoyed reading it.

Her book is wonderful, and after seeing/hearing her in person on her book tour (yarn crawl as she called it), I think she's pretty special too. She has a funny, dry sense of humour, and had us all laughing so hard we were crying.

I especially loved the page on fraternal twin socks. I have made a pair as a Christmas gift.

Keep him Katherine. It's great to have someone who understands what we like and crave LOL. Tim doesn't mind any of my knitting/crocheting/needlework stuff (and it's everywhere!) He even buys me gift cards so I can go yarn shopping. I'm keeping him...... Marie and the cats

LOL I won't even take Keith to yarn stores any more, as he encourages me to buy more and more.

I just mentioned that to Keith, and he said that he would take a look when I finish it.
