Yep, I finally got smart and bought a $5 ball launcher. Where was this when I needed it, 20 years ago!? It has really saved my shoulder. Somehow, the dogs never understood, "Mommy doesn't feel well and can't throw today."

I've tried making an earth bead too, but was never happy with it.
DD and I have an idea for a project we're working on with my old junk beads, and she found one of my first pregnant goddesses the other day. She said, "Wow mom, you sure have come a long way!"

Why not try one like your strength bead? That could be very cool! And then you could do one with her holding the sun...or the moon too! Ooooo on the moon you could use clear dots melted in to simulate craters!! It just amazes me how you can get that whole body down there hanging from the bead! You're just freaking amazing...that's all there is to it!

Awww, thanks! I do like the idea of making the bead Earth... in my original vision, she *is* holding the earth, but I'm starting slow. :) I LOVE your idea for the moon... the clear dots! It would be perfect on a silvered ivory bead.

I can't think of a good way to do that, but I like the idea... it has lots of possibilities! I have made little blown Goddess vessels, maybe I just need to explore that theme further.
