Having Twins!!

I don't make goddesses with twins very often because they are such a pain and I'm never quite happy with therm, but here's one I'm relatively pleased with:

They take twice as much time and glass, and by the time I'm done, I feel like I'm the one in labor!

I keep hoping to see a goddess that *isn't* expecting. Your women are so lovely but a child has never filled my tummy.

Oh Jerri!!! That is sooooo beautiful! I can only imagine how long that took to do. Usually by the time I finish one of my aquarium beads, you could drive nails with the muscles in my neck and shoulders! Dawn

I haven't done one like that in years. I could never decide which I liked better, the rounder figure, or a goddess who looked like she was fit! (I know which one I would be, sadly.) I even tried a mastectomy goddess one time.

Yep. I have trouble with my right shoulder anyway (20+ years of ball throwing for my dogs). If I do something that takes a long time, it really kills me by the end of it.

I need a masseuse! Preferably tall and handsome with a margarita in hand!

no problem - none of mine have babies!!!!! goddesses probably never "carry" to term anyway - they just "create" the child into the world... LOL

I've seen your goddesses. Lovely! Especially Salome.

(I thought for a moment you were going to say they'd eat the child. I really need sleep!)

I was going to say that you weren't missing much, but that is flip and unfair, especially if you are one of those women who really wanted to give birth. JoAnn, I didn't have a wonderful pregnancy, and wouldn't re-live it if you held a gun to my head (if it were Manda's head, OTOH - in a heartbeat). But many women I know have found pregnancy to be a special and wonderful time - I don't know anything about that, either.

But the main point is that we think you're special and wonderful, whether you've been pregnant fifteen times or none. You have so much more to offer than just a bun in the tum.

Hugs,

Kathy N-V

P.S.: Astonishingly, although I appreciate the skill and talent necessary to make goddess beads, I don't particularly care for the form. I know nice ones when I see them (and Jerri's are _very_ nice), but I can't say I'd ever want one.

There's something about those rounded goddesses that appeals to me. And I love the way she adorns them with flowers.

(Although I wanted children years ago, I'm okay with the fact that I don't have any. Personally I can't imagine my body stretching THAT much in just nine months. And I don't even want to begin to think about the actual birth! OUCH!!! I have four wonderful nieces, a grandniece and a grandnephew. My cats are my children now. My life would have been very difficult had I had children so Nature knew what was best for me.)

And thank you. I wasn't fishing for compliments but they are always welcomed. :-)
