Vicki -- kisses and good luck. What is BnB? I lost one of my two jobs (the one where I danced at work. Guess they didn't like me there as much as I liked it there.....) and just got approved for unemployment, which is the only reason why I can even say this without being upset. Thank God for that. I have never applied for UE or anything like that (I feel like I am on welfare) before, but I sure am glad it is there. Gives me a little bit of time to find another job. Still have the typing job and I am DAMNED grateful for it!

the one positive from this trip was that i met so MANY authors and renewed acquaintances with ones i had met at Left Coast Crime. i'll have pictures up soon, i hope.

we publicize mystery, sf, and fantasy books, basically. ]I lost one of my two jobs (the ]one where I danced at work. Guess they didn't like me there as much as I liked ]it there.....) and just got approved for unemployment, which is the only reason ]why I can even say this without being upset. Thank God for that. and, for me, that was the one causing the stress [at least, the job-related stress]. part of it is the MDs themselves. part of it is the lady i have to deal with.

i still have a month to go, but i imagine she'll start having someone else do them, to get them trained. now i just have to catch up on the six days i'm behind.

yes, I understand. I only work for one (idiot) doctor, and he is only and idiot part of the time. The rest of the time he is pretty decent. Funny, cause this is the job I wanted to quit, and now I am so grateful that it is there. LOL

I want to see you succeed without quite so much stress in your life! :) Buying anything from any of the links on your site helps, right? I buy from Amazon pretty often - and they have other things besides books. Hopefully you can get a lot of buyers for the holiday season. :)

**LOL** yes, dear - we are credited for anything you buy if you started at Books 'n' Bytes to get to Amazon. we sell a LOT of books every month, but have also been credited for some very strange things. a refrigerator [i kid you not!]; all kinds of toys, software, clothing, etc.

as soon as i'm finished with the "job from hell", i'll take over the database updates. we get hundreds of updates/week from readers, authors, and publishers. and DH is waaaaaaaaaay behind.

plus, all those new authors found us [or i found them] at Las Vegas. and i'm much better at data entry than DH is. Books 'n' Bytes was my "idea" to begin with - and DH is better at the programming end. so hopefully, it will start generating enough income to keep me off the streets.

or, my interview at the DAs office is next Thursday.

**grin** well, i have three. all nephrologists. and only one speaks English as his native language. and his grammar isn't what he thinks it is. the other two don't dictate even sentence endings, most of the time.

and then they get upset if there are blanks they have to go back and fill in because i couldn't understand what they said around their chewing gum or yawning, or i didn't know how to spell a doctor's name from another county. etc. etc.
