Hey, that's a GREAT idea...LOL...or do some compressing on his lower half to the same degree of pain KathyNV is experiencing and see if he would consider his cries of pain "faking it"...grrrr

I agree with this completely. I trust alternative medicine a whole hell of a lot more than "Western" medicine at this point.

I'm not up to writing all about it now, but the pain docs didn't give me pain meds, even though that was their intial recommendation. They called my primary care doc, who told them I have a history of faking (!?!)>

I'd TELL HIM - I WANT A COPY OF THAT STATEMENT.... !!!!!! PROVE IT! I would bet money - that the "faking " it is not based on a medical doctor's statement - but on letters from the insurance company trying to influence the doctors to cut you off.....

and then I would sue the bastards....

Taking to court with me - the nice lady ER DOC who said you WERE NOT FAKING....

Kathy- dear - it is TIME YOU HAD A MEDICAL LAWYER to represent you !!!!!! They can be found -- call your local Bar Association - tell them the problems you are having getting PROPER medical care -due to (1) INSURANCE COMPANY INTERFERENCE AND HARASSMENT (2) laws about pain meds interferring with doctor's ability to properly prescribe.

I think that in a lot of these cases they count on the person becoming debilitated by pain and worn to the financial bone. In the hopes they will die and stop being a problems. Like has been done with Agent Orange victims.

I'm echoing all the sentiments expressed by others and want to add that I don't know how someone as special as Kathy could be treated so abominably (sp?). I wonder how that doctor can sleep at night. Carlinda

It sounds like you need to contact the state insurance commissioner's office to complain about their denial of services. Then contact the state medical licensing board. Get as much documentation as you can to support your side of the story. Because they(ins & pcp) will surely try to overwhelm you with BS and paperwork. Best of luck and know that you are the one in the right. And, have numerous supporters available in RCB. Armand
