Today, we took MIL on the Trans Alpine train trip;

It was wonderful; seeing the Waimakariri river from high up in the mountains, the rain forests on the west coast and the snow covered mountain peaks. Bliss. It was the high point of MIL's trip. We had a blast and now I'm pooped. Off to bed early for me!
