Thanks

Just wanted to thank those who checked out my site, sounds like you all seem to think it's better than what I had before- so am I finally getting it??? Any suggestions on the prices, am not sure if they are too high, as I told Polly, the black v necklace for example took over

10 hours, and some of the netting takes 8 hours, so considering the amount of work that goes into it I don't think the prices are too high, but I could be wrong. Any opinions on that? I have seen similiar netting for over $100. People don't understand when you put your heart and soul into something, it has meaning to you, they don't appreciate the amount of work it entails, they just want something cheap. For my Turquoise necklace with the double concho I had someone at a show offer me $25, said it wasn't worth a penny more if even that! Needless to say they did not get the necklace, but that's what I mean about ubderstanding the amount of work that people put into their pieces.

Don't get discouraged by people who don't think your work is worth the price you're asking for it. Obviously they're not the sort who understand what an artist puts into their jewelry. Someone telling you that your necklace wasn't worth more than $25 is crazy..I'm guessing you paid that much (if not more) in materials alone!

If people want cheap jewelry, they can go shop at wal-mart or the discount rack at lower end department stores. If they want high quality, hand-made pieces, they should expect to pay a lot more than $25.

$25??? That's insulting! OMG.

Were I you, I would absolutely not accept less than $15/hr for the time you put > Just wanted to thank those who checked out my site, sounds like you all
