You might actually *be* surprised (not that I'd ever heard of it) but just north and a little east of here (just over the river in MN) there's quite a contingent of people with a Polish background. Some of them would, no doubt, know about them (the food *and* the city!). There are probably still a few of the original immigrant stock, or at least their children (who would now be the grandparents), that live there.

I think I have at least 8 of his cds, and all of Stan's )including the one he did for CBC for a couple of radio plays).
