Well, I took two of my pieces into the regional fair - The Dixie Classic - and one of them got first prize!
I got 1st Prize in the Embroidery division with my piece showing gold leaves on a black background ("Evening Enchanment" in Fran's Stuff on RCTNP). I also showed the Waste Canvas experiment, but it didn't win anything. However, I got seriuos offers to buy it from me, so I guess that counts!

Congratulations! The pointy heads here that regulate the main summer exhibition have discontinued ALL craft events. The only things left are rides, noise, gambling and the exhibition of their stupidity.
