Well, they just posted the results today. Will have to get my hiney down to Sedalia to take pix. Four of eight of my entries won money and one of THOSE won a "champ" designation, but I'm not sure what that means.

Class: 17 - ANGEL

1st- MONEY -- PINK ANGEL ON LINEN STITCHED W/KREI

Class: 24 - CNTD CROSS-STICH SAMPLER-LRGER THAN 8X10

2nd- MONEY -- WEDDING SAMPLER BELLPULL W/HARDANGE

Class: SIMPLICITY PATTERN CHAMP -- MOTHERS DRESS FOR WEDDING

Class: 51 - ADULT'S BEST DRESS

1st- MONEY -- MOTHERS DRESS FOR WEDDING

Class: 57 - BRIDAL GOWN (ANY TYPE)

2nd- MONEY -- WEDDING DRESS

I'm so excited I can't stand myself. Oh, wait. I think that just means I need a shower.

Congrats also!!

Curious - how does open class work in other states? Here in Indiana, I found out that unless you do photography or gardening, you must be a member of the Indiana Extension Homemakers (I guess it's like adult 4-H in this state). Not sure if I want to pay dues and all just to enter the fair. Was curious how things were in other states.

Thanks!

I don't know what "open class" means.

No, I didn't have to join anything to enter. Just went to the website, downloaded the paperwork, and sent in my entry fee (a whole $5 for 8 pieces).

Here's the website just for comparison's sake:

Thanks, Tegan! I have to go down there on Sunday to pick the stuff up and will take pictures, then post them. Would you wanna come to Liberty and drive down there with me?

Great job!!!! Isn't it fun to get those ribbons? :))))

WOW! Well done! You'll have to post some pics for us to see! Dianne
