OFF TOPIC life is getting interesting

DS just got accepted to a travel team. Not quite elite, but still a huge time commitment. I was at the rink Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday (yesterday). Tonight it dry land training at a local park.

And just so you don't think Sunday was an off day, DH took him on Sunday.

And the coach has recommended the whole team get ankle weights to wear for dry land training and for daily wear. And free weights for curls in front of the TV.

Like after homework, there is any free time.....

I'm looking through my stash for rink project - it will need to be washed. And a clip lamp and heavier hoop!

I don't envy you this new schedule! I'm still trying to figure out how to juggle my job and home life, throwing in sports for the girls would totally do me in! lol

BTW, congrats to your son!!

I totally understand! My dd has swim practice 4 days a week, GS one night (but you know that ;)) and meets at least once a month. If you find a great clip on lamp, let me know - I have one of those little book jobbies right now that I don't find gives enough light!

I'll forward them!

Tonight is not hockey, it is school open house for DD. DH got to attend the

8th grade one. I was at the rink!

AND I got prewarned to arrive late and avoid the political (school level) meeting that begins it. Same as last year.

I'm still trying to get my troop off the ground! We needed the dust to settle on DS schedule as well as the schedules for my co-leader's teenager.
