I just heard a ballad called Rising Tide sung by Nathan Rogers, son of Stan. Apparently he has just put out his first album. They did not say whether he wrote the song, it was not bad. His voice is not as rich as his fathers was, but maybe will strengthen.
Yes, she is as I recall. Well you should both come up one summer for the Stan Rogers festival. For sure this son will sing there this year and Garnet never misses it.
Oh, my - more fans of the brothers Rogers. We have a picture of Nathan at about 14 years old on a workshop stage at the Mariposa Folk festival, leading the singing of "Barrett's Privateers"
We never saw Stan live, although we have all his cd's including the radio plays that he composed the music to(Poetic Justice). His "Northwest Passage" was recently chosen #1 of the top Canadian songs (in some very tough competition).

've seen Garnett any number of times in concert. The best was at Hugh's Room in Toronto (a wonderful live music venue). Our table was right in front of the stage about three feet from him. If you are in the Toronto/Whitby area, there is going to be a Stan Rogers tribute concert on May 14 at "The Vital Spark" folk club.

don't expect it will surprise anyone that I have all of these websites are bookmarked :)
Ah, well, that's a whole different set of issues than no one to go with. I'll be in South Carolina that week. Need to decide if I can get back in time and if it's worth trying to convince DH that Londonderry isn't that far. Maura O'Connell is playing there earlier in the month as well...
Elizabeth (who wants far more than she can ever accomplish)
