Our 'do' was last night in the RAF officers mess here and wow did those guys look cute in Tartan !!!! It was a real eye candy treat and a tear came to my eye when they 'piped in the Haggis ' It was addressed beautifully by a true Scotsman (also the most junior mess member as it happens ) and the reels where danced beautifully by men and their ladies obviously well rehearsed - the college is obviously still getting something right . Have to say though that the Celt that brought a real quickening to most of the ladies hearts (including my own !!) was in fact a civilian with long flowing locks and full war tartan - aaaahhhhh Rob Roy lives !!!!! I'll have an dram myself - not the good stuff though. Next time I hit a scratch ticket, I'm getting myself a decent bottle of Scotch, not this American Whiskey stuff that is still leftover from the FIL's stash.
