Yesterday I went to my new LNS (Colonial Needleworks) to pick up two charts I had ordered and came home with a little extra (DUH)!
I had ordered M-Designs MawMaw's Quilt (which I may just have to order the silks for) and Lizzie Kate's Home-Work. I found for a Secret Snowman exchange partner a Lizzie Kate Boxer Winter Cottage. Whatever you do, don't follow the DMC substitutions for MawMaw's Quilt. I'm about halfway through, and I just don't think they work as well as the original silks. It's a gorgeous chart, though, one of my favorites of this year. Just my humble opinion...

I vote for the silks. The brands she has chosen are particularly nice to work with. Might be worth a trip in to Comm Ave to pick up the Gloriana and ThreadGatherer and Needlepoint silks, unless Lucy carries them.
