Cheryll Mending has been one of the most ancient adorning /embroidery techniques. many do it and enjoy doing it. And so do i !!! mirjam

Ps go and have a look at my work Haifa lights at night ,, it is mostly domne with sewing threads!!! Go and have a look at my GM`s tablecloth on "Fabrics Remember" on my site as well [ it is ALL done with sewing threads. mirjam

Yes, they are. And had you asked why someone would want a book, what the book would do for them, you might have gotten an answer to your question, but instead, you phrased it as "why would I need a book when there are surroundings for inspiration." That makes sense. But what you said was that you wanted sewing threads for mending, not for creative work. And while mending can be creative, that isn't how you presented it.

And YOU have prooved my point , that no matter what i say you will find Fault in it, when i claim that there are some boders between craft and art , you call me names , now that i say that on certain places craft /mending is close to my art . you find fault in it as well , i don`t change mr words i am the same , i just divide my activities ,, Mending is ne of the most creative , and ver satifactory as well ... mirjam

Linda mentioning that one has excperience in life , and letting it influence decisions, is very normal .. I don`t remember having complained about my life ,, as far as i know it is your friend Karen who always complains about her health etc,,,,, i just take my life as it happens ,,, But surely use my learned lessons ,,, mirjam
