If I could figure out how to put it into an envelope, I would be glad to send you some.

Do they still sell My-T-Fine where you live? Around here it's all ready made in plastic, which I think tastes like plastic, or no sugar added.

A brilliant rctner (who shall remain nameless unless she wishes to reveal herself) once sent me a large quantity of Orvus inside a ziploc baggie inside a ziploc baggie inside a ziploc baggie. It arrived perfectly fine and I'm still using it all these years later!

I feel certain you could post some chocolate pudding inside a ziploc baggie inside a ziploc baggie inside a ziploc baggie and it would arrive, likewise, perfectly fine.

Yeah !!!it is a game , and see What a Fuss you made, just becuase i chose to take `something different ` and also explained why i would take it. Opposing so hotly, was really uncalled for. Hypothetical games, as you called it, are wonderfful mental tools to ecxercise one`s mind and prepare for events that might happen. As well as other benefits amongast wgich is also learning from other people`s ideas. If all answers are the same , we all loose. Groups that oppose a different idea or solutions, =3Dare one track mind.....What`s the fun in that ? I can`t change the fact, but my life has taught me to think ahead , if possible. And i have nothing to apologize for. mirjam

You claimed that I called you names, but you cannot even tell me what name I called you. Therefore, I can only conclude that you are not an honorable person and are dishonest to boot.

Being called by YOU , this names is a compliment. I have no intention of collecting all the unkind names and phrases you have used over the years, about me and mine. The Mere fact , that you use even a simple game, to flame and oppose everything i say, shows plainly how and what you do and did. mirjam

Thinking back, I'm not sure I ever saw My-T-Fine in California. If memory serves, the last time I saw it was on the East Coast.

Then again, I always preferred Jello brand, so maybe that's why I don't recall buying the stuff in Calif. Will defer to the recollection of someone who's a lifelong West Coaster whether it was ever available here.

Well, there you go. You're pointing out shortcomings which she can't/won't admit to, and your ability to see these shortcomings means that you are the problem, not her.

Saying that you are not an honorable person or are dishonest is not calling you names. If I were calling you names, I would call you a liar, which you are.

You have no intention of collecting the names I have called you over the years about you and yours because I have not called you or yours names. I have only ever called you one name and it is a fact: you are a liar. And you are lying here again, because I do not flame you and I do not oppose everything you say. I have gone for years without following up to anything you say and I do not flame you. A disagreement is not a flame.

But I will say it again. You are a liar.

But your reference of boars was to the general population of RCTN, not anyone specifically known to keep kosher....Of course, that may be why I would go to the bore usage ;^p

Is there any possibility that we - the greater group - could just let this go? Yes, we all know that Mirjam's tone can be offensive, and yes, Elizabeth, I don't remember you calling her names, but really - will this ever come to a resolution?

All of these other people just dropping in to throw zingers along the way...well, it's not pretty, or nice, or constructive - either in helping to avoid future confusion, or demonstrating any particular wit of argument and conversation. I feel like I'm watching a bunch of pre-schoolers sticking their tongues out and having an argument of "did so" "did not", or having a bad flashback of the "cool girls" ve the "not cool" when I was a summer camp counselor - and had to settle things with the 11 year olds.

My point is, while I agree that Mirjam often comes across as condescending in what she writes, and yes, had difficulty (or doesn't) accept that her understanding of the nuances of English is less than perfect, is an incredibly frustrating thing. But, OTOH, it is equally silly that several people feel compelled to jump in and pile on with their barbs and insults - as if she weren't there. Even in a real life stitch group - I can't imagine a bunch of folks sitting around speaking doing something like that, and treating a person present as if they were invisible. At least, once past junior high school or so. It's petty, and mean-spirited. A line of support in an argument or discussion is one thing - but this thread has gone silly and well beyond that - it's embarrassing to read - I hate to think that people I like and respect - just seem to be enjoying stringing this along. What's the point - after you've agreed the first time?

Again, Elizabeth, I'm not speaking to you specifically, as you and Mirjam are clearly having your own war of words.

I was actually pretty much done. I just wanted to see if she had the integrity to admit that she was mistaken and that I had not called her names. Clearly she does not have that integrity, so I have no reason to continue. There's no defense against someone who's willing to lie about you to make you look bad.

Other than going through the back posts and showing I said "White", she then misquoted me as having said "Black". Time and again.

I have certain people who misquote me all the time -- they quote what they THINK I said, what they WANTED me to say, and when put on the spot, cannot turn up the original post saying what they "quoted", because it's not what I said.
