Congratulations Butterfly!

It made me giggle as I have this same pattern for a quilt that I started many years ago (pre 1992) as an English paperpiecing take-along, handpiecing project. I kind of put it on the back burner after a friend brought my project to me to work on while I was stuck in a hospital. Some how the container with my stitched together stars got lost. Not all of them, but probably 20 or so. They were the most recently completed.

Yours looks great. Maybe I'll dig mine out and keep it handy to take to work on during road trips while DH is driving.

Yeah, she will be, as she does appreciate handwork.

Oh my gosh, that is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen! You are incredibly talented and, just as importantly, incredibly persistent. The only way I would EVER finish something that big would be if it's edible and very, very sweet.

Absolutely beautiful, Butterfly; but, even more, a triumph of will over adversity. You must be elated. . In message , Butterflywings writes
