The yellow table runner is finished (well half of the binding remainsto be handsewn - but my sewing hand is objecting to any moreneedlework tonight)...I had problems initially with the quilting andripped out the first 4 attempts in one section - I finally realizedthat I did not like the 35wt thread at all! I switched back to a 50wtcotton for the backing and rayon for the top - size 14 Schmetz needle(not quilting) - I used the same fabric for the binding and thebacking - neither were used for any sections of the quilt blocks.I outlined the circular medallions using my pfaff and then switched tomy brother1500 for free-motioning all the rest of the quilting - lotsof fun to use this machine!I loved working with the Louisa Smith templates to make the blocks forthis table runner - the possibilities are endless for futureprojects!

Oh my, Jennell! That's gorgeous! I love the blocks, but the quilting is just amazing! Did you mark any of it, or did you just do it without marking? Wonderful job! :D
