Seems baby is ready to come on his own. Doctor told me this morning that I don't need the pre-petocin medication routine, so I can skip the hospital tonight and just go in the morning for the induction. Should be having a baby sometime before tomorrow (Friday) night!
Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well...and I'll let you know as soon as I get home how things went!!!

On a side note - we are waiting for the arrival of a new baby too. Should be any minute now. Except this one has feathers. A new cockatiel - Third one in 4 days.

Danielle, Here are prayers and good wishes for a "safe landing" for the little one and a good birth experience for you. Don't worry about rushing to the computer as soon as you get home. You might just want to rest and sleep and cuddle..... Life takes on a different pace once the baby arrives.

all body parts are crossed as requested, Danielle. had there beeen a bit more time and knowing if your body is ready to deliver, you could of got some Pulsatilla in 1M dose from the nearest homeopathic shop and taken that to start labour, it only works 'if' your body is ready to go tho. i used it back in 1984 when ds was 17days overdue, mom had just arrived that morning from usa and being the hottest time of mid summer i was more than ready to let rip. argh what a day that turned out to be. took it around 9am and ds was delivered at home as planned just in time for dinner. mom nearly had a cow of course, convinced me having a homebirth was too scarey. Happy Birthday to the wee babe on arrival and hope to see ya both soon here around the 'old cyberquilting frame'. hugz, jeanne
