SM Needles Giveway

Do any of you have a use for Universal SM needles?? I have a good number. Let me know if you need some. The first couple responses I get, I will send you several packages of needles as soon as you send a stamped envelope. I think probably three stamps would be enough to send a few of these. Don't you?

I don't need the needles -- but better check with the postoffice for postage before mailing. With the most recent changes to postage rates, some things have changed drastically. Anything that can't be sorted by machine will take more postage than something of the same weight that can be machined. Check the postoffice web site for more information I'm not sure you want to send sewing machine needles in a machinable package.

The rate changes resulted in some rates going up and some going down. The bulk rate for my guild's newsletter actually went down slightly because it is machinable.

If you end up with anything you don't give away, please remember Jill of Critter Comforts. She makes about 1500 quilted snuggle pads/beds for homeless dogs and cats that live in shelters waiting for their forever homes- and that's 1500 little quilts EVERY year. She'll take thread, ANY washable fabrics, batting scraps of any type and sewing supplies like sm needles, etc. It's such a worthy place to donate your extras and unwanteds!

Leslie, Missy & The Furbabies in MO.- all my beloved HairyButts are rescues- now in their forever, forever home and all surgically altered so there won't be any more babies to burden the shelters- two subjects I'm a bit rabid about.....

It *is* a very good cause, especially with winter coming on. Those concrete kennels are cold. Just wanted to add, your local shelter can always use your worn out bedspreads/comforters/towels, too, for that purpose. I need to send Jill some batting. I've got so many pieces that are about the size of a large beach towel. I bet shecould use them.
