Okay, I come back again to this source of information to answer my questions on a car.
My father turned 90 last June. About a year ago he bought a brand new car, a Toyota Matrix, on the premise it was easier for him to get in and out of than his Toyota Prius. Of course he had buyer's remorse with the fuel economy. But he has driven it less than 3000 miles.
Now he is thinking of giving up his driving privilege before he has an accident, and has asked me if I want to buy his car from him. I have a fully-paid for car, a Mazda Tribute, and have been thinking of selling it since I no longer need as big a car as this [and was going to buy a truck ;)].
Does anyone here have a Toyota Matrix, and if so, please give me your feedback. Email me privately is fine if you do not want to clog up the ng .
