Air quality is far worse today than yesterday. I am in an area with no wind, but surrounded by fires. Santiago Canyon is still going strong, Camp Pendleton is only 30 miles south and last I heard they were fighting 2 or three fires. Camp Pendleton covers a vast area, which means that if the fires are at the northern end of the base, they are less than 15 miles from me!!1 Going to call the folks soon and check on them.
DD called early this morning. She knew we were fairly safe since she knows the area, but everyone else in Pittsburgh have no idea exactly where everything is so think that her parents have been burned out. Her father's house is safe as is mine!
As things change for the better or worse, I will let you know.
