I recently saw an advert for a quilt show/festival, which mentioned a section for quilters under 35. I thought I must remember that, maybe one day I could enter something, but then completely forgot which show it was and where I saw the advert (or maybe it was an article, there was some info about a past winner, I remember the quilt was stunning, but I've looked at so many recently, I don't remember at all what it was like!).

"young" quilters, huh? Must be a relative term. Young Quilters would be those under the age of 12, imo. Young-er, young-at-heart, younger-than-dirt, younger than yo' mama, young in regards to the cosmos... . Thank goodness here at RCTQ we've never held the lack of age or experience against anyone. 8->

Younger quilters have better eyesight and not much arthritis yet. HMMMMMM. Should they be judged differently? Being well on the older side of 35, I'd say a lot harder!!!!
