That is funny to see us talking about eating at the table. When I grew up we were never allowed to eat any where BUT the table. I believe tv helped change that. Also so many people in a family work,go to school,travel that it is harder for a family to all sit down together. Now that there is only Fred and me, we always eat one meal together,dinner and on his days off we have a big breakfast . We enjoy this and make it long and leisurely. We read the newspaper,work the crossword puzzle and just enjoy sitting at the table with each other for breakfast. Fred leaves the house at 6:30 so I sleep through that and so it is a treat to share breakfast .
