Just out of interest, the heart embellishment used is actually the gold = locket in the picture. It was a treasured first gift from BF, now DH of = 36 years. The chain got broken but one of the children grabbing hold of = it but I kept the locket and it still has the original old pictures = inside.

Thanks for sharing. I'm doing my first challenge also. I'm sure she'll pop up and tell you were to email it to. But we can only see it (as far as I can tell) if you post it here. Mine is done but my camera battery is dead -- wouldn't you know it! What a beautiful poem, love it!

Also, I wanted to mention how wonderful it is that you incorporated THE locket. Brilliant.

Melissa, Although we all place the layouts in our own webshots, picturetrail, yahoo, personal webspace or whatever, M-C also posts the challenges on the RCS newsgroup website here

Got the tissue box at the ready? I always knew there was a reason I kept the locket other than just my sentimental one. DH thought I was mad when I got out the jewellery cleaner to polish up my old locket but he is quickly gaining a feel for all the scrapbook layouts I am doing and is appreciative of each one...LOL

Hope he is as easy going when the other two albums, several fibre packs, 2 photo organisers and a crop & carry arrive tomorrow by courier and I am praying that my ebay purchases from the US will not arrive until next week, when he will be back to work.

Hi Marilyn,

I really like how your Feb. challenge page turned out and I think adding the locket to the page as an embellishment is a very special touch.

I enjoyed your layout and it was truly from the heart. The locket was a = great idea, I may want to scraplift it someday. I have a large silver = locket that I got when DS#1 was a baby from him and daddy, DS#1 bit it = when he was two and you can see the imprint of his baby teeth. I was = annoyed at the time but I also realized it would make it more valuable = to me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful page! Thanks Jacqui...it is those little *incidents* in life that end up = making the most treasured memories. I was so annoyed when the chain got = broke and intended to replace it. Somehow, it just wouldn't have been = the same, so it has been in my treasure drawer all this time :o) I = nearly tossed it out a few months back when I was having a major = clearout but thought....maybe I will get a new chain! Glad I kept it = now! It is a very simplistic layout and still not sure I totally like = it. I am doing a double layout for the wedding album at the moment, so I = will review it as time goes by....I think it is may be the white = background that is throwing me.
