It's been a couple of weeks with no Sunday ad from Michael's. I was going into withdrawal. I used my 40 percent off coupon today to buy the Journaling Genie software. I hope it works out for me. I also bought a handy-dandy pen and marker organizer for 25 percent off. In fact, all the organizers are 25 percent off. The 3D embellishments are marked down too; hence, the empty pegs and shelves. I was too late for that bargain.

I bought the new Fiskars trimmer at 25% off and used the coupon for vellum tape. I wanted a magazine but the only one my local Mike's had in stock was Simple Scrapbooks and that issue didn't appeal to me.

According to the Fiskars rep I talked to at GASC in Texas last month, only lss's will be carrying the rotary cutters. Then again, that is from a rep and not from the ones at Fiskars who make the final decision. LOL
I bought the new 12" trimmer - it has a blue casing with silver guide. Cuts perfectly straight and so smoothly. Uses a triple track blade system. It's not on the Fiskars website yet though. The rotary trimmer was fun to try at GASC too but it's not portable enough for my needs.
