It's Sunday isn't it?

Hi Everyone,

Gee, no one said what they were doing today, and I missed reading it so I'll start it even though it's late in the day. DH and I went to Sunday brunch and they had dinner all day, which was fine with us. DH got to have something new to the place, steamed clams. They will be having them for dinner on weekends now so looks like I'll be having dinner out instead of brunch. LOL

It's a lovely day here in upstate NY so tomorrow we can go and finish the yardwork we started yesterday before the rain came and soaked us.

Hugs and Happy Fathers Day to all the dads.

Hi, Nora,

I was thinking it was just my dear Outlook Express not downloading messages again, or else it was really quiet. Everyone must be out celebrating with their dads. I think we're getting some of your sunshine here in MA, and it's a bit warmer than yesterday. Your brunch/dinner sounds like it was delightful.

My time today was spent putting primer on some of the bathroom walls, which involved moving the washer and dryer as far as they would move on their platform, and wriggling up, over, around and behind them (quite a sight, but at least no one was home to see). Needless to say, this is not going to look totally professional once it's done, but at least the difficult area will be painted. (We'll still need to take down the walls on the other half of the bathroom behind the sink and toilet to make it match properly, but that's not happening any time soon!)

A few more minutes online, and I'm off the working on some cross stitch that needs completing. Enjoy the rest of the sunshine. Let's hope the rain misses us this trip.

Hi, Nora. I cleaned up my laundry room today, and then took Keith out for dinner. He had steak and I had lobster. Yum!

I haven't knitted yet today, so I may punch in an hour now.

Sunday was busy. I worked an early shift, got off at 2 pm and went to see my dad. My mom made some fried chichen, stuffed cabbage, and potato salad, Yum. And we had "pineapple upside down" ice cream for dessert. A limited edition from Turkey Hill. Delicious!

Came home just in time to greet DH coming from a picnic for his dad held at my BIL home. Rest of night spent watch TV as too bushed to take out any projects. Off to work today, so maybe I will crochet tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a nice Father's Day yesterday.
