OT: DH's surprise for me

as you all know, DH is very handy... well we've been talking about what to do outside in our yard... I said I wanted something with water, maybe a pond or something. My Dh comes home today with a pool! No not like a mister turle pool... a big momma of a pool. He has the guys who work for him coming tomorrow and tada... I got water. I have to be more specific from now on. LOL. He said he got it because he heard me and my brother joking about how every year my parents would say "next year, we'll get a pool" next year came and "Next year, we'll get a pool" LOL.I'm alittle surprised to say the least. It'll be worth it though! I'm so excited!

I agree with you on that, Jen!! Someone overhears you talking about something and then acts on it. When my grandma was in the hospital a while back, my aunt had mentioned that she had been looking through old tapes at the flea market and auctions and had found a bunch of old country artists. But she never sees any Johnny Rodriguez - she guesses she'll just keep looking. So I went home and went online and downloaded nearly 28 songs for her and recorded them on a CD. I mailed it to her and she received it not too long after she had to start caring for my grandma in her home. I hope she really enjoys it. That's the best feeling!

So Tara, ENJOY your pool!!

BTW, which scrappers here in Florida have swimming pools? Hint, hint....

lol... that was my first thought... I was saying "Oh My God" and hugging him. IN the back of my head I was thinking "I need pool stuff for my scrapbook!"

I am very lucky! I am the first one to say it. He things it's all nothing... no matter what he does, he says "Oh it's nothing" He is definately something special. Mom knew too... she told me for years I should be with him!

Hi TaraJeanne,

I'm getting the same surprise this month. It's going to be a big ordeal for us including Bobcat work to dig a deep end. I was thinking of a way to scrapbook it and thought about doing a calendar page. A friend of mine became a CM consultant and did a calendar page of her first month as a consultant. She has a few more calendar pages left and I asked it I could have 2. I thought the first month with the pool might be fun. I might make the prep and installing of the pool a separate page. I can see wanting to take a lot of pictures of before during and after this Bobcat rips up my backyard.
