I hope someone can answer this questions, I have only just started using Google Groups but I am finding that when I put a post on a topic I loose track of where the messge is.

Is there anyway of being able to mark/find posts that you have made?

Helen, I find Google groups not very user friendly, that's why I rather work through the newsgroup by my ISP. You can delete the messages you've read allready and that is way less confusing. I only use Google to search for old messages I might have missed.

Helen...I think that most of us use Outlook Express to access the NG. Can you use that perhaps? It is easier to keep track of what is going on. Many folks find using Google Groups a pain!

Take care, Marilyn (UK)

Helen...if you are acessing the group on the computer and have Outlook Express you can set it up using the information on this page.

I was going to give Google Mail a try but I see that they only send invitation codes via text message. There is setup instructions for other programs available! Just go to the Google Help Centre and look under POP access to find one that you may have available.

I go through google groups. I keep track of threads I've contributed to, or started, by "starring" them, which you can do on the main page by clicking on the star next to the topic. Then you can search for your starred topics.

You can also search for messages from yourself.

Hope that helps!

Welcome to the group!

Jessica
