I have a bunch of tickets, brochures, etc from my trip that I want to include in my layouts. I'm looking for ideas for layouts tho, as I keep drawing blanks.
Does anyone know of a good resource that I can check out? Or even just ideas?

As a stage manager and fiance of an actor, I know the joy of theater programs and tickets that need to be scrapped. Here are a few random thoughts and ideas that might spark something for you.
First, use some archive mist on all sides of the paper (a royal pain if you're doing a book type of thing) so it will live on for years and years.
If you have several tickets that are about the same size, you might want to consider stacking them, putting an eyelet through the top to attach them to the layout, and then fanning them out for a cool half circle embellishment that will take up a large portion of the page. Probably about a quarter of the page or so. If each ticket reminds you of something specific, draw a line from the end of the ticket to a small journaling box and fill the page with little descriptions of each thing. The tickets then become the centerpiece for an entire layout.
I love clear pockets since memorabilia like that will probably need to be removed from the page to be thoroughly looked at and appreciated.
Think of tickets as premade tags.

Those are some great ideas Alex! I have a few tickets (zoo, concerts, etc) that I haven't scrapped just because I wasn't sure how to do it. You've given some great tips. Thanks!
I usually mat the tickets on a piece of cardstock or put them in a clear pocket as Alex suggested. For larger items (like the Playbills from plays we have seen), I just scan and print them. That way I can size them to fit my layout.
You are the scan queen Cathy. I remember receiving your pages and being awed at the little pictures of the books you had read, especially when I realized that they were scans printed on photo paper and not just magazine ad clippings. :) You are so thorough in using acid free supplies that I am sure your books will live on for many generations! Kudos
Thanks M-C. The scanner and I have become very friendly. After Christmas I'll scan the books I made for my family for Christmas. Wouldn't want them to see it before they open them!
