Hot PAtterns

Ah! IO understand now, thanks.

And thanks for the details, I hope I remember them! I suppose there are reasons for regulations but sometimes, without knowing them, they can seem very silly.

I don't know about Mary, but I am afraid to try clothes that look lovely on tall, stick-thin models when I have never even remotely resembled that in my whole life. ' I really like the pictures by Purrfection Artistic Wearables where they resize the pix so you can see what it would look like on a short, larger-than-life person.

Smantha , if you can`t imagine how you look in a certain style , go to a big shop that has all kinds of styles [if possible take a good friend with you -one you trust to say the truth ] , and try on the style[s] , you aren`t sure about ,,,, You might even buy sothing that looks good on you , and use this as your Basis Guide for your next sewing project !!!!!Also you might find out which Mag`s style fits you ,,, there are several mags in the market who feature and cater for slightly different sized ladies ,,,, But the BIG RULE ,, You have to feel OK in your clothes. Before My Solo exhibition in the Museum , a colleague told me ,, That i should wear Black clothes , and not my usual beloved patterns and and and ...........i thought about her ideas , than decided that if i never wear black, i shouldn`t do it now , and anyway `who invented those Nonrules`, If i wore something i wasn`t feeling easy in and that have to meet so many people ,,,i will be lost ,,,, i sewed a new skirt

+shirt which i can wear and forget i wear ,, And i felt ok !!!! mirjam

Oh! Tell me more, please.

I've been to the very good site and signed up for the newsletter but can't find information about re-sizing.

I never pay attention to what the model looks like in a sketch. I look at the style and usually know what looks nice on me. I know that asymmetrical tops look well, that includes things like wrap dresses. I look better with a "V" neck than a jewel or scoop neck. Terrible with in a turtle neck, mock turtles are OK. I can't wear dresses or skirts that are mid-calf, just below the knee is good, look very good in pants and floor length skirts.Knowing that makes pattern choices much easier. Juno
